I've searched the Web for "best of" and, just when I think I've found the right one, I'll look up reviews and find multiple complaints (e.g. Everyone likes to tell you how important it is to backup but what they don't tell you is how hard it is to find something that actually works. Just noticed that neither of my kids' computers is being backed up.Turns out that my credit card # failed and Dell couldn't auto-renew. I acquired a Dell Inspiron 530 computer with the original Vista SP1 installed.Thanks for the e-mail and the warnings on the PCs, Dell. I use Mozy and just used DDS b/c it came w/ the PCs and is cheaper. I would like to do a complete restore back to factory. The restore partition appears to be intact, including a file.
Has anyone tried a similiar online backup solution and had success backing up data from a server? The software is clunky when dealing with large amounts of data...
